On Thursday, October 16, Grassi 1925 hosted the opening day of a training project developed in collaboration with LIUC – Cattaneo University. The initiative involves a second-year master’s degree class and aims to bring students closer to business processes through a concrete and structured experience.
During the morning, the students were welcomed at the Lonate Pozzolo headquarters, where they attended a company presentation by President Roberto Grassi and visited the production departments. It was an opportunity for direct dialogue, offering insights into the company’s history, values, and internal organization.
The project includes four on-site sessions in which student working groups will explore key topics such as digitalization, process optimization, and the application of artificial intelligence in production settings. Supporting them throughout the process will be Simone and Giulio Grassi, the company’s fourth generation, who will oversee the Production and Purchasing areas, respectively. The project is coordinated by Professor Emanuele Strada on behalf of LIUC.
The value of the initiative goes beyond training: it’s a tangible example of how dialogue between academia and business can foster mutual growth. On one hand, students tackle real-world challenges and develop applicable solutions; on the other, the company welcomes new perspectives and ideas.
LIUC – Cattaneo University, located in Castellanza, was founded in 1991 by a group of local entrepreneurs, including Grassi 1925. Since then, it has become a reference point for university education tailored to the business world, offering courses that blend theory and practical application. The bond between Grassi 1925 and LIUC is based on shared values: local development, innovation, and a strong focus on youth. Initiatives like this one reinforce their joint commitment to building bridges between academic training and industry.
