For four years now, Grassi 1925 has been a supplier of UGAP (Union des Groupements d’Achats Publics), the largest French purchasing center for various products including technical clothing. And it is news a few days ago that UGAP has again confirmed us as its supplier. Obviously this can only please us immensely because it is a further confirmation of the high quality and competitiveness of our products on the French market.
The 2020 news for UGAP
To the other items that we already supplied to UGAP, this year we have added technical underwear for the Fire Brigade. These are two long-sleeved shirts and trousers with particularly performance characteristics and suitable for wearing in contact with the skin to offer high protection and maximum comfort.
Here are the features of these garments in detail:
- ultra elastic to adapt to any physiognomy, male and female;
- fireproof to ensure further protection in case of dangerous situations;
- Standard 100 Oeko-Tex® certificates for harmful substances, a very important factor being garments that come into direct contact with the skin;
- seamless to be even more comfortable;
- ultra-fast drying to be washed and used every day.
The shirt is available in two different models: the classic one with long sleeves and the one with integrated hood. The latter also exists in the variant with a particle filter to offer even higher protection for users.
Comfort and protection
When we design an item of clothing we have only one goal: to offer the wearer the greatest possible protection and at the same time maximum comfort. Uniforms are worn for many hours and often in extreme conditions. The good fit of a garment is therefore not just an aesthetic detail, but is a fundamental element to guarantee the safety and protection necessary in particular working conditions.
Hence the careful choice of all the elements that make up each Grassi 1925 garment: from design to fabrics, from accessories to packaging. Every detail is essential to produce a quality garment, from jackets to technical underwear.
