Grassi 1925 is among the companies that contributed to the establishment of LIUC – Università Cattaneo, founded in 1991 by the Union of Industrialists of the Province of Varese to educate new generations of managers and entrepreneurs.
The University’s campus, housed in the former Cantoni Cotton Mill in Castellanza and designed by architect Aldo Rossi, is a virtuous example of industrial redevelopment. It combines the charm of a historic structure with modern and functional spaces designed to foster interaction and exchange between students and faculty.
Since its foundation, LIUC has stood as a meeting point between business and education, offering study paths that combine theory, practice, and direct contact with the job market. This approach makes it a unique business school in the Italian academic landscape, capable of building a strong connection with the region while opening doors to international opportunities.

Today, this connection continues with Roberto Grassi, President of Grassi 1925, taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of LIUC.
This appointment strengthens the dialogue between academia and industry, creating training, development, and career opportunities for students and young professionals.
To facilitate access, LIUC offers tuition discounts for its University and Business School to employees (and their families) of companies associated with Confindustria, LIUC, or the JRC – Joint Research Centre in Ispra, promoting study programs that enhance talent and skills.
