On October 24-25, 2024, the third edition of the Venice Sustainable Fashion Forum took place in Venice, an event organized by Sistema Moda Italia, The European House – Ambrosetti, and Confindustria Veneto Est, where key players in the fashion industry gathered to outline sustainable transition strategies. With the theme “Leading Re-Generation,” the forum encouraged a rethinking of sustainability, focusing not only on reducing environmental impacts but also on regenerating the entire supply chain.

Grassi 1925 participated through the intervention of Maria Grazia Vittori, the company’s Technical Director and Sustainable Innovation Manager, in the session dedicated to circular economy. Vittori presented the GRASSI REWEAR project, an initiative developed with European partners to recover and regenerate end-of-life garments, thus extending the life cycle of clothing and reducing the environmental impact of fashion.

The event also featured the presentation of the Just Fashion Transition Observatory report, with recommendations to accelerate the sector’s decarbonization by 2030, an objective fully embraced by Grassi 1925. With its commitment to a transparent and sustainable supply chain, the company continues to build a future for fashion based on responsibility and innovation, aiming for a lasting blend of quality and environmental respect.
